The uchibari (内張り is red silk with yellow stitching that gradually pulls the fabric into a conical shape for the interior of the kabuto.

The shinobi-no-o (helmet cord) is typically made from a panel of fabric like silk crepe about six feet long and 14” wide which is rolled into a long snake and sewn up.
